Dr. Brittany, ND was born in Brandon and raised in the West-Man area. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Ambrose University in Calgary, AB before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON, graduating with honours from both institutions.
Dr. Burt, ND will be offering virtual appointments and has a clinical focus in integrative cancer care.
She sees cancer care as an opportunity to align medicine with meaning: treating the whole person while honouring the emotional, spiritual, and physiological complexity of healing. Her approach focuses on guiding individuals through every stage of the cancer journey—from initial diagnosis to post-treatment recovery—enhancing quality of life and promoting long-term resilience. Dr. Burt, ND believes integrative cancer care is not just about minimizing side effects—it’s about helping people feel grounded, empowered, and more like themselves in the midst of uncertainty.
Dr. Burt, ND also has a passion for working with people struggling with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and pain management. She approaches each concern whether cancer care or other with a balance of science, empathy, and respect for the body's innate capacity to heal.
Originally from Gander, Newfoundland, Dr. Burt, ND brings the groundedness and compassion of her East Coast roots into every aspect of her work. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Dalhousie University before earning her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. During her internship at CCNM, she was selected for the Integrative Cancer Care shift - the only one of its kind in North America - where she trained alongside FABNO-certified experts.
Outside of practice, you might find her trying new recipes, exploring local trails, playing the piano or reading up on the latest in integrative oncology.
