Dr. Brittany ND was born in Brandon and raised in the West-Man area. She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Ambrose University in Calgary, AB before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON, graduating with honours from both institutions.
Emily Burt is a naturopathic graduate with a clinical focus in integrative cancer care.
She sees cancer care as an opportunity to align medicine with meaning: treating the whole person while honouring the emotional, spiritual, and physiological complexity of healing. Her approach focuses on guiding individuals through every stage of the cancer journey—from initial diagnosis to post-treatment recovery—enhancing quality of life and promoting long-term resilience. Emily believes integrative cancer care is not just about minimizing side effects—it’s about helping people feel grounded, empowered, and more like themselves in the midst of uncertainty.
Emily also has a passion for working with people struggling with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and pain management. She approaches each concern whether cancer care or other with a balance of science, empathy, and respect for the body's innate capacity to heal.
Originally from Gander, Newfoundland, Emily brings the groundedness and compassion of her East Coast roots into every aspect of her work. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Dalhousie University before earning her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. During her internship at CCNM, she was selected for the Integrative Cancer Care shift - the only one of its kind in North America - where she trained alongside FABNO-certified experts.
Outside of practice, you might find her trying new recipes, exploring local trails, playing the piano or reading up on the latest in integrative oncology.

When not at work you will find Ashley sipping on a coffee, working on a crafty project, or trying out a new recipe.

When you book with us, you will experience a patient first mentality focused on hearing your health concerns. By actively listening to you, we will be able to treat the underlying cause of your concern rather than just managing the symptoms, ultimately transforming your health to new heights rather than just providing a tune up.
Who said that "being fine" is the goal of health. We at Prairie Naturopathic don't believe that being fine is anywhere near the peak health status for you. By making an active investment in your health you will sustain your well-being and prevent having to pay in disease later on.
